Black History Month takes place every October and is an important event in the inclusion calendar. Whilst we should be celebrating the contributions and histories of Black people and other people of colour every day, this month provides us with a targeted opportunity to also raise awareness and encourage others to engage in activism to progress the case for racial equity cause.
Holding events in October to make Black History Month is a chance to help our workforce and volunteers understand the rich history and lives of people in greater detail and will without a doubt support us in promoting inclusion for all.
